OUR CARE STANDARDS
How we choose our care partners
We don’t work with just any clinic. Every medical partner who cares for your loved one in the Philippines is interviewed, checked and reviewed by our team, before the first visit and long after.
OUR PROCESS
Five steps, from first meeting to every visit
Choosing a partner is only the start. Here is how we vet them, and how we keep checking.
1
We meet them first
Before we partner, our team interviews each provider about how they deliver quality care, and reviews their company profile, values and standards.
2
We check every document
We verify licenses, certifications, clearances and insurance for the provider and every professional who will see our families.
3
Our doctor reviews the care
Once we work together, a ManoHealth doctor regularly reviews visit notes and recommendations to make sure care meets our standards.
4
We meet regularly to improve
We hold regular quality check-ins with each partner to share feedback and keep improving, while they keep their own medical judgment.
5
We keep our standards up to date
Our care guidelines are reviewed and updated regularly, and licenses and insurance are renewed every year.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
The standard every partner must meet
When we interview a partner, we look for care that follows the World Health Organization’s principles for quality health care, plus one of our own.
Effective
Care based on medical evidence, for the people who need it.
Safe
Care that avoids harm to the person receiving it.
People-centred
Care shaped around your loved one’s needs, wishes and values.
Timely
Shorter waits and fewer harmful delays.
Equitable
The same quality of care for every family, wherever they live.
Integrated
Care that is joined up across doctors, nurses and services.
Efficient
Making the most of every resource, without waste.
