HEART HEALTH SUPPORT

Help them keep their heart healthy at home, even from afar

Living with high blood pressure or a heart condition means daily medicines, regular blood pressure checks, healthy habits and follow-ups with their doctor. ManoHealth’s doctors, nurses and Health Advocate help your loved one in the Philippines stay on track, and keep you updated every step of the way.

THE DAY-TO-DAY REALITY

A healthy heart is looked after every day, not just at the doctor

Small things add up, and they’re hard to keep an eye on from thousands of miles away.

Medicines every day

Maintenance medicines that need to be taken on time and never run out.

Blood pressure to watch

Regular checks that are easy to skip when no one is reminding them.

Check-ups to keep

Lab tests and follow-ups with their doctor or heart specialist.

Worry from afar

Not knowing if they’re feeling okay, or would tell you if they weren’t.

HEAR FROM FAMILIES

In their own words

Families share what it’s like to have a team looking after their loved one’s recovery back home.

“As a patient, I felt the compassion of their team, Ruth, their neuro specialist and the physical therapist. They explained everything as if we’ve been long time friends.”

QUESTIONS

Common questions from families

Is ManoHealth an emergency hotline?

No. ManoHealth is not an emergency hotline and does not provide emergency care. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital right away. Once your loved one has arrived at the hospital, their Health Advocate can step in to help, keeping you updated and coordinating the next steps in their care.

Can they keep seeing their own doctor?

Yes. Their Health Advocate can book and go with them to appointments with the doctors they already see, and share updates with you.

Can the Health Wallet pay for medicines and specialist visits?

Yes, with your approval. Qualified expenses include prescription medicines, visits with specialists, lab tests and rides to appointments.

What if they have a question at night?

They can reach a doctor 24/7 by app, video call or landline. For an emergency, call 911 first.
